Whether exposed to daylight or immersed in obscurity, the Sphinx’s message endures, veiled yet accessible — its semantic structure persists across perceptual conditions, asserting the glyph’s conceptual integrity. Across all cultures, the sacred texts and ancient traditions of humanity speak with one voice: humankind was created through the direct intervention of higher beings upon terrestrial animals. Nearly every account of human origins, from the Sumerian tablets to the Popol Vuh of the K'iche' Maya, describes this event in ways that today resemble what science would call genetic engineering. This very idea is powerfully encapsulated in the image conveyed by the Sphinx’s message. It reveals the true meaning of being 'made in the image of the gods': no longer mere animals, but beings awakened to self-aware intelligence. Could the most enigmatic monument of the ancient world have passed down a more profound secret? The document of the Sphinx embodies the supreme hieroglyph: mdw-nṯr, the words of the god. So, it’s hard to think of a quote more fitting than this one by J.L. Borges — “I pray to the unknown gods that some man-even a single man, tens of centuries ago-has perused and read that book” (The Library of Babel). This NFT features architectural floor plans from the Sphinx temples complex, faithfully reconstructed in AutoCAD based on historical layouts. The original technical drawings were subjected to a digital color treatment that highlights their structure and meaning without altering their essence, restoring to the raw and sacred geometry its function as a pre-theoretical experience.
